Do you have a special Scout in your life? Do you want to give them a gift they will never forget? We have a great idea for you! How about a Bunk with Beasts Overnight Experience?
Things really heat up here at Seneca Park Zoo after the holidays. We hold our overnight programs nearly every weekend, all winter long! In January, we have many special dates set aside for your Scout.
- On Jan. 11, Wolf Scouts can learn about birds as well as work on requirements for their Elective 13.
- January 12 is set aside for Junior Girl Scouts to work on their Skill Building Badge – It’s Your Story, Tell It! Animal Habitats .
- January 25 is reserved for our most popular program, the Brownies WOW! Wonders of Water Journey. These programs sell out quickly, so we encourage you to register early!
If you don’t have a Scout, but would like your child to attend one of our Overnight Experiences, we encourage you to check out our All Ages Nights which are open to everyone, not just Scouts. Girls of all ages can enjoy a slumber party-like atmosphere at our All Ages Night on January 19.
Overnight Experiences include a pizza party dinner, crafts, a tour of the Zoo, a special behind-the-scenes visit and an up-close experience with some of our Education animals. Then settle in for a movie and late-night snack in our Rocky Coasts Gallery where you will sleep between the polar bears and sea lions.
You can check out our Web site for the complete schedule of Overnight Experiences.
