It is always good to get back into the swing of things after the holidays and yesterday we got back into the swing of Zoo Classes here at the Zoo!
Yesterday morning, we had our 2-year-old “Remarkable Rabbits” class (where we met a rabbit of course!) and our 3-year-old “Animals in Motion” class, where we met both a rabbit and an owl and talked about how animals move! We had a blast and I am looking forward to doing it all again later this week! Check out some photos of our “Remarkable Rabbits” class below:
- Kids and their guardians listened to a story about rabbits…
- …before they got to meet a rabbit in person!
- Let’s make our own bunny ears!
- How fun!
- We’ll even let them come back for one last pet, too!
Our 2-year-old classes are sold out this month, but we still have plenty of room in our 3-year-old “Animals in Motion” class for both Friday, January 11 and Saturday, January 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. We also have room in our 4- & 5-year-old “Hug a Bug” classes taking place from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 12 and 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15 and Friday, Jan. 18.
All of our preschool classes are include songs, stories, animal encounters, crafts and a snack. It is a great way for you and your child to enjoy a day at the Zoo together while making new friends. You might even make friends with a bunny!

Melayna,
They are offered each month, so February will be the next opportunity: http://www.senecaparkzoo.org/classes-for-2-year-olds.aspx
